Default New Computer/Media Center

Ok, I have a dilemma where I buy Region B movies alot not knowing if they are locked or not. I have been mulling around importing a B player but have decided on another solution. Would setting a bd drive to region B or using a software that allows you to change the region work without issue? I cought a new video card for the new computer I am gonna use. It has 8 GB ram as well for faster performance. Is this a feasible solution or should I just use the B player?

You can change your region a maximum of 5 times - after that - its set.

BD regions are set in the software - not the drive! 4 left on this one:

5 left on this one:

DVD regions are set on the drive itself.

You can get two different player softwares and set them to different Regions and be good to go!

*IF* you exceed the Region change limit - uninstalling and reinstalling the software will reset the Blu-ray Regions.

I have had one software changed before and when I updated(uninstall - install new), I had change count reset!
