Face it—the marketplace has spoken regarding sound recordings. And they want the convenience of iTunes over the fidelity of even a normal CD.

And this is also true on NetFlix—the download portion is becoming a separate membership entity, even though the sound is stereo only, and there are no extras like commentaries, etc.

You're fighting a lost battle.
