Best jump from DVD to Blu-ray? - Blu-ray Forum

Not the best blu-ray but which movie got the best upgrade going from DVD to blu-ray? The best one I can come up with atm is Dracula. That DVD is absolutely horrible but the blu-ray is breathtaking.

oh this is pretty tough i think i would have to say pirates of the carribean dead mans chest. the picture and the audio is just so much better than the dvd. now that i think of it all three of the pirate movies are better than their dvd counterparts.

The Godfather looked and sounded incredible compared to the standard!!

Black Mask with Jet Li. The PQ could be a little bit better but it looks awesome on Blu-Ray.

A Clockwork Orange, it's amazing how good this looks on BD given the age of the film.

I think the DVD for Terminator also looked horrible, while the current blu-ray isn't THAT good it's still miles and miles ahead of the terrible DVD.

Well, to be fair, the new "Final Cut" DVD was also excellent (for a DVD).

I was able to do an A/B check on Dr. No with the Blu-ray and the DVD. Holy crap, was there a big difference. More than any of the other Connery Bonds so far.

Batman Returns.

The old DVD looked pretty bad and now, on Blu, it is totally sick

One of the best catlogue transfers.

Reservoir Dogs. This is worth upgrading to BD for sure. 14.99 at Amazon. Go get this one.
