Just saw the new trailer for Transformers last night...My God. - Blu-ray Forum

Saw PoTC3 last night, and I was totally not expecting a new trailer for Transformers.

Folks, this sucker is going to be over the top.

I kind of phased out for the rest of the previews and the first 10 minutes of the movie.

Oh, and since this is the Blu-Ray forum, I hope it gets a top transfer and the best extras. This movie will be born for high def.

I totally agree! I am so hyped about Transformers and Rise of the Silver Surfer that I could be finished chewing through my arm any minute!

Yeah let's hope Paramount encodes Transformers specifically for Blu-ray, the way they have been doing on numerous other releases.

Let's also hope it's their title that represents their jump into HD audio like Dolby TrueHD, DTS-MA or PCM.

The part of the trailer that just ruins it all for me is "A Michael Bay film." I can only think of Team America when I see that.

HE's not too bad --- Bad Boys 1-2, The Island(which I thought was awesome)....it could be worse....it could've read "An Uwe Boll Film"

THe Island was shit as well....Ive never seen so much product placement in a single film before....

what's wrong with team america? I remember the first transformers trailer before pirates 2. saw it at the drive in. the second everyone realized what it was there was cheering, horns honking, lights flashing. it was cool. i've seen the newest one and the guys at work are already planning to go as a group opening day. screw bbq's its all about the autobots.

I saw that trailer too and got hyped. I will see that movie in the theater, just because I want to see big robots on a big screen.

The Pearl Harbor song from Team America is what I was referring to in my previous post. Team America was great, and that movie sums up my feelings of Bay. I didn't like Bad Boys (the first one mainly because I don't like Martin Lawrence), and I've not yet been able to watch The Island. I've heard good things, but I just don't like the director, at all, and the song "Pearl Harbor" summed it all up for me. Again, all my opinion.

IMO I don't think the movie is going to be too great movie wise, but the special effects and blowing up shit will be awesome. It would kick ass on blu-ray but as a movie I'm not to sure about that robot "Oh I have feelings".
