Default Toshiba 47" Regza issue.

I am having a screen issue with out 47" Toshiba Regza. It is just over a year old, and has developed a faint/dark line down the right side of the screen. Depending on the background of whats on screen determines how noticeable, if at all it is. On bright background with a light background such as white or light blue it nearly dissappears. But if its darker, close to black or brown or something to that effect, its a very dark and noticeable black line. It almost looks as if it is in line with where a 4:3 picture would cut off, but I know that cant be it, otherwise it be on the other side as well.

Any ideas as to what it is? And is it possibly fixable? Im sure if it is, it will be alot to get fixed though.

Thanks for any input.

I was thinking the same thing, but can there be a faint burn in from a 4:3 image? My mom usually zooms the 4:3 channels to fill the screen because she hates the black bars, so im not too sure, and its only one side which makes me skeptical of that.

Thats a known problem on the Reza. I can't find a link for you at the moment. Like the last poster said, sell it & move on, unless Toshiba will fix it for free & has a fix so that you won't be in the same situation down the road. Thats doubtful though...
