Klipsch Reff's system complted finally,,, - Blu-ray Forum

Yeah me , I finally got to finish my Klipsch refference system , All I needed to upgrade was my sub from the RW-10 to RW-12D & My Surrounds from the RS-42's to the RS-52, And by fluke today my dream came ture. I was in the dealing mood so I called my friend that owns the Hi Fi shop and asked if he was in the dealing mood too, he said what you got in mind ? So I gave him my idea and we haggle for a hour. and BAMM he said okay we can do it , drove like 70 miles an hour to get to the shope before 3:PM when it closed , Lucky I got the 10 min. till 3PM , so we did the deal home by 4PM and got them all out and installed by 5pm and 1st cranked out to some music, MAN the 12 in sub is so much more than a 10 , it was insane,, very happy ,,I was like oh my GOD,,

,,, this was awesome,,, Then I stuck in Transformers for the test of the sub and new Surrounds, OH MY GOODNESS,, WIFE was not happy ...

..LOL I was just going to try some favorite sences and next thing i knew I had to watched the whole move again ,,, This was , was , spechless......... Unreal the deep bass and the surround info was like unbeliveable, All in all I am so happy ,, My system is done.............complete finally , now I can sit back and just buy blu-rays and music now and enjoy,, Thanks for everyones help and so forth here on my ? and ideas, it has payed off so much ,, so heres the set up ,ONE HAPPY KLIPSCH OWNER,,,,,,,

KLIPSCH - RF-82 TOWERS FRONT L&R BI-AMPED
KLIPSCH - RC-64 CENTER CHANNEL
KLIPSCH - RS-52 SURROUNDS L&R
KLIPSCH - RW-12D SUBWOOFER

MONSTER CABLES -Z2 REFFERENCE SPEAKER CABLES-BANANA PLUGS
MONSTER CABLES- ZBASS-100 SUBWOOFER CABLES

Congratulations on your new setup!! I used to use Transformers a lot also for a surround sound demo, but now I've found Master and Commander. If you want to see what surround sound is REALLY all about on your new system, pop that blu-ray in and crank it up. I promise you won't be disappointed.

No really I'm pretty much done , With my system , The only other things I need are 2 more Monster powerline 200 IEC power cords 1 for the TV, & 1 for the New Sunwoofer,, & I really feel I'm quite done . The only 2 other things that I would want to be upgraded is my Monster Power center from the HTR 1600 to the Monster 3600MKII ( But really dont need to) & the really only other thing that would be important is to upgrade would my TV. to the Pioneer 60" Kuro Plasma. then I would be totally done. But this is not going to happen anytime soon , Why Because the WIFE said so

..LOL But I'm more than really done , complete ... OH I did for get 100 feet of Monster Z1 speaker cable to redo the surround spekers, Like I said I'm done , Now Stop it ,..Leave me alone, quit putting these subliminal messages in my head,,

I'M DONE FOR NOW .................LOL

Sandman, that Sub is pretty cool. If I remember correctly it has an IR sensor which will allow you to control the settings with a remote. I think you can adjust the cross over for different listening habits i.e. music, movies, night mode.

Great feature.

yeah, I liked the movie . but never bought it they were asking to much $ for it , maybe someday..But the sub is awesome , very happy ..

The RS-52 are an upgrade for me from the RS-42 and belive me there is a difference, a good investment,,

Nice upgrade! I got my whole reference system on deals throughout online and store fronts! Got to love the RF-82's those things rock the house! I am jealous of your RC-64 the 62 isn't bad that is what I currently have but once I improve my reciever and or buy an amp I am going to "upgrade" to the 64 and start making a mini bedroom setup with reference speakers for myself as well. I have the rw-10d and again you have the upgraded 12 so I am jealous again! haha! I bet it sounds superb! Congrats on everything you go hopefully the prices were good as well! I am sure you are very happy! Are you selling your 10D?

Hey thanks so much for the kind words.. And Yes I'm very Happy , I only got to play with it Sat, the last day off before I had to go back to work , Got bumped to 3rd shift, so no fun right now, I love the RF-82 they rock as for the RC-64 its a awesome center, I had the RC-62 also then upgraded it to the RC-64 , and the RW-12D is an unbeliveable upgrade , It's INSANE compared to the 10" sub, And the RS-52's alot better than the RS-42's,, But no reason to be jelous, Upgrades come in the right time as you say the price was right , actually I got to trade in my old sub & Surr, plus trade other stuff in on the deal so the price was right , very , very little cash,,, The guy that ownss the Hi Fi shop is a friend I made along the way and he has been very good to me . Or none of this would of happened on the upgrading,, as for my old sub it was just the reg. one RW-10 . not the RW-10d , but I traded it in .. sorry ,, thanks agian , and hopefully I'll get to play with them this weekend...

yeah I put in Transformers to check out some audio and ended up watching the wole movie,,LOL,,

As for the RW-10 & RW-10D , the Rw-10D just replaced the RW-10, they are the same subwoofer, the only difference is that the new one is Digital The
( d) part, as for the other one just has its own volume knob on the side of the sub and the Phase & Low Pass is on the back of the sub, the only difference, But i have to admit I like all of the controls on the top of the sub and the EQ. is cool , as Punch & Depth..

Hopefully I'll get to play this week end ,,

Well I have been playing Music all day and all I can say is this new subwoofer is awesome,, I love it,, been playing some heavy laden bass cd's and its really scary ,, I knock one of the wifes figureins off the shelf in the masterbath and broke it today , felt bad,, Butt hey the sub shakes the house,,,LOL,,, So I had to go in and put rubbermats under them so they wont slide,,problem fixed ,, back to music... LOL..Tonight will be Hellraiser on Blu-ray , and I hope the soundtrack is good as they say ,,can't wait,, I want to hear the surrounds in action .. I'll report back later,, untill then ,,Klipsch fans rock on...........
