I love the first the most. But Army if Darkness is amazing too.

I'm pissed that they are remaking Evil Dead 1.

I agree it one of those classics that shouldnt be touched but with Raimi writing it it at least gets my respect and ill see it just cuz of that!

Well... I guess technically II was really a remake of I... and the intro to Army was technically a remake of I and II... so I guess I should be more open minded about it.

The Evil Dead Remake is directed and written by Raimi so i guess i will check this out when released in 2010...

The Evil Dead remake has been in the works for years. Raimi said Ash is not going to be in because he said something around the lines of "No one could fill those iconic shoes". Bruce Campbell said the title for next Evil Dead is called Evil Dead IV: Dead in the Water.

I love this series of movies and I am not a fan of the horror movies. It will be hard to watch a Evil Dead movie without Ash in it.

There are going to be very high expectations for this movie. Hopefully, they pull it off and remake another classic horror. We'll see
