Default Tru2way

What is the deal with tru2way cable cards? They were all over the news this time last year and I don't think I've heard anything more about them since early last summer.

Their website only shows four press releases this year. Are cable providers picking up on this at all? I know they have several set manufacturers onboard with them. Just curious, I may be in the market for a new set sometime this fall.

the whole cable card thing sucksIMO. i am a supervisor for A cable company and i have ran across more problems with cable cards than i care to. in my experience they DO NOT work that great with alot of tv's at the fault of the cable card not pairing correctly. i spent 6 hours at a job trying to get one to work before the customer got fed up and went with a hd box. they also are being used for the newer dual tuner tivo's which also have pairing issues at the fault of the cable card. the esthetics and the idea are good but the technology just never really got ironed out. as far as i have seen while killing my time in bestbuy frys and video only, they are not putting cable card functionality in tv's anymore are they?
