Default Panasonic S1 50" Plasma...Exchanged for the G10 ,,,read why .

Hey just got the new S1 model, I really like it alot , have'nt had much time to play with it due to working , I know there is a few post on it , but I have couple of ? for any help.

1st ? is , Am I really losing going with the S1 verses the G10 with THX.

2nd ? . How do I set it to 1080P and 16 .9 ratio. in the menu?

I use to have the HP 42 " Plasma and in the menu I set it to 16.9 and I could set it to 1080P And I have the Marantz Blu-ray BD-8002 Player , I set the output to 1080P , I did watch the Fast & the Furious Toyko Drift the night I got it and it was a stunning Picture, But not really sure if it was displayed in 1080P.

Please any help , I would be greatful . Also did I do okay with getting this TV ? or should I've gotten the Samsung Plasma 58" for $2,000.00 or an LCD.

Thanks agian , have a nice day jeff
