Two excellent releases.

I'm not too familiar with 4 DVD, what other releases are they responsible for?

Hello,

Previously, Studio Four were HDDVD-exclusive. They are just now coming on board. Of course, we will cover their output.

I hope Trainspotting is a vast improvement on the poor DVD transfer we got.

Actually, I am working on both. And the preliminary info is that they will be Region-B "locked". However, since these are the first Blu-ray titles from Studio 4 (formerly HDDVD exclusive), I decided not to post here as I am unsure if this is a generic press statement or a finalized one.

In any event, as I have mentioned earlier, the site will cover Studio 4's output, thus you will know for sure whether or not their discs are Region-Free.

I hope this helps

These sure as hell better not be region locked. These are two of my favorite films and Shallow Grave is out of print on DVD in the US.

I wonder how TRAINSPOTTING will compare in image/sound quality to the Japanese import. I've read some negative reviews of the import but it looks pretty darn good on my big screen! Not perfect, I see some minor artifacts but it's superior to any 8 gig version ever released. If this edition is better than it's worth the double-dip...and I've never seen SHALLOW GRAVE so looks like a blind-buy for me anyway

And it's not region free either, huh? I guess I'll just have to wait for the inevitable U.S. release.

Review for Shallow Grave. Says it has PCM 2.0 soundtrack. No mention of the region code or the codec used but I assume it is the same as Trainspotting (AVC and Region Locked).
