Break in? - Blu-ray Forum

Can someone point me to the break in thread, thanks.. (how to break in a new tv)

Crack mentioned it in his post, but you do understand this is for plasma only, right? No need to do this for LCD.

I was told that if you were going to get your tv calibrated though...for an lcd you need to wait 150+ hours. For plasmas it is around 200 hrs. The breakin dvd is a good idea for plasmas.

thanks, so that means u keep the tv on with the break in dvd going for 200 hours straight?

Correct...if the tv is a plasma
