Duplicity announced for July 28th, 2009

Hello fellow Blu-ray fans, just found the release date for one of the movies I'm anticipating for the Blu Ray release as I missed this in theaters. Hopefully, there will be more info and cover art for this from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment soon. Got the release date from my www.dvdaf.com collection website.

Universal Studios Home Entertainment have announced the US DVD and Blu-ray Disc release of Duplicity on 25th August 2009. From the director of Michael Clayton, Duplicity is an espionage thriller starring Julia Roberts and Clive Owen as two spies-turned-corporate operatives who attempt to pull off one of the biggest heists ever.

Priced at $29.98 SRP on DVD and $39.98 SRP on Blu-ray Disc, features are outlined below…

Day 1 for me. I missed this in theaters.

I just finished watching this and it was pretty neat. In general I think I really enjoyed how Clive Owen & Julia Roberts interacted. Although I choose it to be one of the rentals this week instead of a buy, I might need to re-consider down the line.

The PQ was very neat and was all good. I agree with this site's review.

I have this in my Netflix queue for next week on DVD (I have the only BD player in the house), but will likely buy it for myself on BD later down the road. I have little doubt I will enjoy it.

I missed this in theaters also, but I won't be buying it on day one. I'll wait until Duplicity goes on sale later on.
