Any Harmony remote will work with all of your equipment EXCEPT for your PS3. For an additional $60 you can get Logitech's infrared to bluetooth converter for the PS3 which just came out.

All you really need is a Harmony 550. If you want more bells and whistles, then get an 880 or 890. Just keep in mind that it will control your equipment exactly the same as a lower model would.

I have a 880, and it works great. If you want I can sell you mine Just like David says, it will work with all your stuff, just depends on what kind of bells and whistles you want.

Both 880 and 890 will work with all of your equipment... For the PS3 you'll need either the Logitech $60 adapter or the $10-$15 Nyko Bluwave adapter, which has all the functions of the $60 version except power on and off...

Depending on price I'd opt for the 890. Reason being for me the 890 is able to control z-wave devices. So say you have a z-wave dimmer switch or outlet dimmer to a lamp you can set it up so once you press the "activity" watch movie your components will turn on and the lights will dim at the level you set it to all at the same time.

Both remotes are difficult to use with these TINY buttons. If your system is in front of you consider purchasing a 670, 659, One, 610, or a 720. All these have bigger buttons and cost much less than the 8XXs. No matter which remote they all have the same software to program.

If all your gear is at the front of the room, in sight, there is no problem with either, other than the PS3 issue mentionned. The only possibility the 890 gives you is to point the remote wherever you want and use RF instead of infrared.
