Default Question about Yamaha HTR6160 (or 663)

Hi all,

Currently my setup is as follows:
- PS3 into Yamaha via HDMI
- Cable Box into Yamaha via HDMI
- HDMI out to TV.

I just use the Scene buttons (pre-programmed 1 & 3) to switch between the 2 and everything works wonderfully.

If I hook up my Wii to the Yahama, will it output to the TV via HDMI as well? Or would I need something else going from receiver to TV?

I guess I have other questions (regarding Scene buttons etc) but they may be a moot point depending on the answer to the first question.

Thanks!

yes your receiver should have analog to hdmi upconversion, so if you hookup your wii to the receiver it should be displayed using your hdmi connection to our TV.

Thanks. I'll give it a try this evening hopefully and see how it goes.
