Thanks for rectifying that, I searched but found nothing. Might've typoed "mision" or something.

Great movie though, because it has Jerry O'Connell in it.

Will mission to mars actually come out on Blu-ray because it says it will come out on 22nd september? but on the "coming soon" segement it says nothing about mission to mars so will this movie even come out on blu-ray in the UK?

Default Pro-B reply!

I see so this is the french release? im just wondering when the UK (english) version will be released? since its on blu-ray then this means it will inevitably come out in english (uk) anyway if its any movie i want to see on Blu-Ray its mission to mars.

Well there will be English audio on the disc, but since it's a StudioCanal release, I'd say there's probably going to be forced French subs when playing said audio track. And it might be locked to Region B.

Hello,

Optimum Releasing are Studio Canal's offshoot in the United Kingdom. This being said, at the moment I don't have any preliminary info on a possible UK release coming through Optimum Releasing.

I would do my best to have a review for the site so that you and everyone else interested in the film knows for sure whether or not the French subtitles are "forced".

I see, Ok thanks.
Since there's no way to determine if this title will be released in the UK i may as well just wait for a review for the french release, although i highly doubt that Mission to mars will not be released in the UK.

Yes, several of us own it including myself. I'll have to see about possibly grabbing some screenshots when I get a moment.

I just read the user review of Mission To Mars here on blu-ray.com.
>>>
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Missi...9/#UserReviews

There it says:
"Only complaint I will note is that I couldnt find a way to remove the French subtitles when listening to the English Audio track so Im guessing they are forced which is a bummer."

So what is it now...are the subtitles forced or not?

Today my copy arrived and I tested it immediately. Unfortunately, as far as I can see now, the French subs are really forced. I did not have much time to experiment but as far as I can see now it's forced. Fortunately the subs are small and very low in the screen.
