Default Any online photoshop-like programs?

Hey all, I have a question like the title says, Are there any websites or free programs to download, that are photoshop-ish? My girlfriend is in real estate and is always asking me if I know any places for her to do picture editing, resizing... blah blah blah...

I searched, and got 2 results, paint.net, and a program called the gimp. Anyone heard or used any of these 2?

Thanks in advance

-Cisco

You might also try Paint.NET. It's like Windows Paint and Adobe Photoshop mated and had a child.

Ok so paint.net and gimp are good substitutes. Any online websites? Or just those two programs?

What do you mean by online websites? Do you mean a program that is browser based where you upload the files to it and edit within the browser window?

Exactly. I'm just covering my bases, incase one is more user friendly than another.

Gotcha. I don't use them; but don't Picasaweb and ImageShack have some basic editing features? That is kind of a wild guess, as like I said I don't use those programs at all.

Either way, though, it is best to do editing on your local hard system.

Photobucket does as well. I was kind of surprised at how many tools they have now. Nothing to really replace Photoshop, but simple enough tools to take care of simple things that aren't worth booting PS up for.

Photoshop has a web version that does the basic photo editing stuff. I just need to find the link.
