Default Dusty PS3

I try to baby my PS3... I clean it all the time... try to keep it DUST FREE. but this seems to be impossible... it seems like a DUST magnet. SO my question is.. does anyone have any special items they use to clean the PS3? special cloths...etc

I'm the same with my PS3. Since the Piano black shows the dust so much, and will scratch very easily, I've been using a mini-version of the car duster that show cars use. That or a mico-fiber cloth. The cloth will remove fingerprints as well if you just use your breath like on a pair of glasses. Mine was bought in Feb. and I don't even have a single fine scratch on the finish yet... knock wood.

I use Swiffer duster cloth. Seems to clear the dust without spreading it around.

All large CE devices are dust magnets (this is a fact of physics), but it is easier to see on a clear, shiny surface.

I use a swiffer as well as keeping it out of my kids reach.

awhile back on the net I saw some autobody guy took apart his PS3 and shot some high-quality gloss auto paint on the cover, making it a very attractive shade of WHITE. so maybe buddy up to an auto paint guy and get something that's close to you particular shade of dust?
