Default External Drive Stopped Working
Hi guys, sorry if this isnt the right place for this but my external 500 Gb Verbatim Drive has stopped working...

Im pretty sure i just disconnected the drive rather than stopping it so presuming thats whats wrong..when i plug the drive in it says the drive has malfunctioned. It doesnt show up in my computer and i have a lot of work files on there that are very important!

Is there anything i can do to recover the drive / files?

I am ok with computers but only to a very basic level.

Any advice/help is much appreciated.
