The next great director?

Who will follow in the footsteps of the like of;

Capra, Ford, Huston, Eastwood, Scorsese, Kubrick, Spielberg, Cameron, Coppola, Lumet, Hitchcock, Lean and many more who have produced great films that are regarded as classics. Like them or hate them, we can all name at least one great film from each of these directors. (If not,shame on you )

I do not believe that the current crop of directors can or will ever produce a film of the likes of, Godfather, Schindler's List, Taxi Driver, It's a Wonderful Life and 2001.

I know that I have left many directors of the list that many people will regard as great so forgive my over site, but I want to know who you believe will make, or if ever, the classic films for my children?
