Pioneer BDP-05FD Playability issue with new ST OS Season 1 - Blu-ray Forum

Does anybody know when Pioneer is going to isssue a firmware update to resolve the DTS MA problem with this collection!I have current 1.25 firmware installed. The problem is when you have scene breaks audio drops out and can only be reset once you pause disc and release, audio returns, picture is not affected. Anybody else going thru this torment?

I've been having the same problem with my Samsung 3600 player. Same issues. Audio dropouts usually when it plays through a chapter.

My biggest issue is when it spontaneously goes back a whole chapter for no good reason. Does this happen to you?

No! I have not encountered that issue with the Pioneer. I have to say this Star Trek OS 1 has been the first playability issue I have had, I have done two firmware upgrades and each one has improved performance (Loading times) greatly.
