Default PS3 never stop impressing me... Best system I ever bought!!

What I love about this beautiful machine our features I keep finding out this beast can do. Like the other day, I finally got Windows Media Player 11 to work on the home computer so that I can share all my media WIRELESS to my PS3 in the basement. Also the cool themes I’ve downloaded, the simply hard drive upgrade from 60 GB to 180 GB, all of it… Oh ya, and I used the 60Gb for extra HD for my home computer (buying a $20 - 2.5 enclosure). Sony really gave thought into this console that would cover basically everything in the electronic market today (Blu-ray,WiFi, Bluetooth, card readers, internet browsing, DVD up converting….etc). Again, the other day I was upgrading my home computer, so I had no way of checking some pic’s my wife’s sister emailed us, so I said “Wait, PS3 has internet, let’s check them out there!”. See it never stops impressing me. Hats off to SONY for the best piece of machine ever created, and good looking too, matches my 52” Sharp Aquos perfectly.

Anybody else can share why they love their PS3!!

I love the dymanic zoom in the web browser.

Plus,. I love that it has a web browser but doesn't need a host of security software and constant updates to security problems and never gets a virus from web browsing.

Putting on some music while showing a slide show of pix always impresses my guests so I just have to do it each and every time someone new comes around.

It cooks and cleans for me...j/k...it's just an awesome piece of equipment. It's really the only console I've ever had that I know I'll buy another one to put in another room some day...maybe I'll own more than 2. At any rate I'd have to say it gets most of it's love for BDs...I am a gamer too though.

I use every feature it has all the time. I love listening to SACDs, I watch DVDs and BDs, I play PSone, PS2, and PS3 games, I listen to and rip CDs, I use slideshows for pics from my camera, I browse the net, I even have a wireless setup so it sees my iMac and all my music, videos, and pictures on there as well! I love it!
The PS3 really is an entertainment center, and not just a game console. Now if it will only take out the trash for me too.....

I, too, rave about it any chance I get...especially those asking what kind of player they should buy.

P.S. I have been goingto various Sam's Clubs here (just to buy stuff for the house) and I look over the PS3 games and blu ray movies they have and I've noticed that they still have bundles available for the 60gb for about $550. I haven't looked to see what extras you get but it's just the fact that you can still find the 60gb brand new at places.

I really wish I could justify buying another cuz I think it's so good. Maybe if our overhead projector in the basement (120" picture ) was HD I would buy another...

I put the best pictures I took onto the PS3 and some of the best scenery from around the world that I built up over the last 10 years from various digital cameras are in a folder that I still bring up from time to time.

The photo slideshow seems like a simple concept, but when you see your photographs displayed on a 1080P screen, the effect is still breathtaking.

Agreed, it is the best machine I have ever owned. It does so many things and does them flawlessly. My only complaint, and its not really a complaint, is that I would love it to have about a 1TB HDD. I know I can add an external one and change the internal one to like the biggest SATA available, and I will probably do both of those things, but nothing like having it all inside. But that said, it is awesome. I have sold probably 3 or 4 via word of mouth. I tell friends how cool it is and when they buy it, they thank me. Especially XBOX 360 owners. THey have said once they have sued the PS3 they never use their XBOX any more and will probably sell them, especially now since HD DVD is dead.

Default PS3 Rocks!!!

I own both the PS3 and an XBOX 360. I owned the XBOX 360 for over a year before I bought the PS3 and I must say that even though I am a huge fan of the XBOX 360 and their exclusive titles (Halo 3, Gears of War 1 and 2, Fable 2, Viva Pinata, etc.), the PS3 is a superior system in every way and I have been extremely pleased with every aspect of my PS3.

I love my PS3... best system I ever picked up. I use all the features... I ripped my music collection onto it, I store photos, play games, watch DVD and BD movies!!

I even use the web browser quite a bit... especially when I just need to check something real quick and I don't want to wait 10 million years for M$ Windows piece of shit to boot up.

Why anybody would get a shitbox 360 is beyond me.

Its funny you say that. I had my best friend over last week to watch the UFC fight (he's a dedicated XBOX360 fan) and after the fight I turned on my PS3 to show him the different themes and demos I downloaded, and he says, Ya, XBOX gots themes too, and demos(meaning who cares, my XBOX is better than your PS3). But then I wanted to show him the UFC game trailor on youtube. He freaked out! not because of the grafics of the game but how simple I went browsing on the internet with no computer. Then I mentioned other features which impressed him even more. I got him hooked. He wants one now. Funny how we have to impress these XBOX spoilers the best machince ever made.

You know this is the SICKES machine built!! you MS XBOX360 fans are jealous!!!

I had my 360 for a year and various parts of it went back to MS for repair twice. Had my PS3 for a year and its still as it was the day I bought it. The whole time the 360 used to successfully drown-out the noise from the washing machine, whereas the PS3 is nearly silent.

The only problem I have is that there aren't any games I want at the moment
