PSN really slow right now? - Blu-ray Forum

this is taking forever to download wipeout, anybody else have incridebly slow connections with psn right now.

Not I.....took me 3 or 4 minutes to DL MM9

i noticed it was slow about 30 minutes ago. it took me a while to even load up my friends list.... about 3 minutes to just see who was online

expect that when theres a bunch of new updates on the store. The servers are uploading alot of info to people...

Actually, I was getting ready to ask if they had improved the servers or something. Everything went really fast for me tonight (not normally the case). Downloaded Wipeout HD, a couple of small addons and the 2 NBA demos and it went really quickly. I thought it would be an all evening ordeal just downloading them.

I too downloaded Wipeout + Rush album in record time. I was shocked at how fast it went...

Yeah, the Rush record for me downloaded in about 90 seconds... on the other hand the Megadeth album last week took an hour. Go figure.

Just as an update. It was amazingly fast earlier for me but I try to keep both PS3s with the same content. So, I started downloading Wipeout HD on the 2nd one (with a bunch of other stuff in the queue) and it's downloading very, very slowly now. In the amount of time that I downloaded everything earlier in the evening, I'm only about 40% of the way done on Wipeout HD on the 2nd PS3 (and it's the first download in the queue).
