Default iPod sync problems

Whenever I connect my 30gb iPod to a computer and try to drag musik onto it, it says: ``The iPod cannot be synced. An unknown error has occured -48´´ .. I've tried different computers and different cables so thats not the problem!

Does anyone know anything about this?
Anyone had the same problem?

Need help

Do you have the latest up-date from iTunes?
If not downloaded, run the iTunes program & connect the iPod & Reset the iPod to factory settings, then let it sync.
try that & let us know how you went with it

Its the newest version yes.. I have dragged all my music to my iPod so my collection will be lost, but oh well If I can get it to work again a friends wants to buy it for $40 - and I will buy an iRiver Clix instead I will reset it when I get home, I guess that should solve all problems?

I had the exact same problem & what worked in the ends was to simply reset the iPod to factory settings & the go throught the process of SYNC all music I had on it & it worked perfect

Yay I found a solution:

1.Plug in the ipod
2.Go to My Computer
3.Right Click the Ipod
4.Go to Properties
5.Click the "Tools" Tab
6.Click "Check Now" under Error Checking
7.After it's finished start itunes
8.Update Ipod once it shows up on itunes

Great

Btw is there any easy way of transfering my downloaded Podcast from iTunes to Windows Media Player and onto my iRiver?
