Default Help plz Power Conditioner

I am having trouble deciding which to get. Either the APC AV H15BLK or the Panamax M5300 PM. I am running AV,TV,PS3, 2 subs that is main stuff for now but I am going to add 5ch and 2ch amp in the future. This will be my first power conditioner and I am looking for help from people that has experience with this type of component (even the models I mentioned). I can get the H15 for $315 and M5300 for $399, I don't care about the cost just which would be better for my system is all

Thnx

Sorry I didn't see the debate on Panamax vs Monster etc...

i think you are going to be getting very close to the limit of either of the units you mentioned especially if you are going to add the 5 & 2 channel amps all onto that one conditioner and you didn't say you weren't. i recommend you go to a unit that can handle a true 20a load or 2400watts of power. of course this would mean you need a 20a circuit breaker and a true 20a receptacle to be able to handle the unit and all of your equipment. i know you said you ordered it already, this is just my two cents before heading out of the door to work. best of luck. i own one of these units, not in the 2400w flavor, mine is in the 1800w flavor, it's dedicated to my XPA-5 amp. i also use one of the same models dedicated to my color laser printer. best of luck, hope what you buy works for you now and in the future. though, i still think watt wise, your getting too close or you will be well over once you get the new stuff.

Thnx for responding. You probably are correct about me eventually having to much stuff for that unit. It will most likely be a while before I can afford those amps I want. I just needed something like asap because Im in a bad wired house and it already took the power supply from my 46" samsung lcd while in a surge protector and Im paranoid that it's gonna happen to my new xbr9 (im seeing familar signs). I will probably get a new one when the times comes and put old unit on another tv.

first thing is to make sure your house wiring issue gets corrected, especially what you have your a/v stuff connected to. Of course, still get a good, properly rated line conditioner to further protect your stuff. if the issue is that you can't afford to get the 20amp unit then fine to handle the load you want you must either get the 20amp unit or get two smaller units and divide the load up properly amongest the two of them as to not overload either one. your line conditioner/surge protector should be there to protect you from rare occurances caused by caused by nature or your power utility, not so much because of bad house wiring. the house wiring can be corrected, there isn't anything you can do about nature or the power utility, for the most part. you will know if your overloading your unit, it should beep and tell you it's being overloaded so keep an eye on it. think about getting that wiring issue corrected. if not that line conditioner will be beeping all the time about power issues.
