Can't say for sure but after doing my research I ordered the APC AV H10BLK Home Theater 1000VA Power Filter and Conditioner today for $249.95 on Amazon. Based on what I've read/heard it seems like a good deal for <$250.

Yeah, I've seen a lot of people with the APC's, I will probably go with the one you got.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm planning on buying a Belkin PureAV PF30, it's about 200 euros, so it should be around 200USD too. It has decent reviews and someone here suggested it to me

Thanks, I've been looking to buy a power surge/ conditioner but didn't want to spend $250 or $280. This should work fine. Ordered one today.

I recently took apart some power conditioners from my local school so that I could recycle the batteries.

They were Belkin and APC and the Belkin's were crap for build quality compared to the APC's.

This may have changed over time but the experience was enough to convince me not to consider Belkin anything.

Thanks for the reply.
I would think the majority of us who have the APC units bought them when they were discontinuing the silver APC-15 models. MSRP of $450 (real selling price is $360), and these silver units went down to the $100 mark.

I'm sure the APC is better than the Belkin. It has a "$350,000 Connected Equipment Warranty". If anything happens, Im covered.

That was a great buy. I am glad I purchased mine back then even though silver does not match my other units.

I was looking into purchasing the Panamax M5300-PM. Does anyone have any thoughts on the product or company themselves.
