Hi. I have a question that I am sure somebody here can answer.
![]() I have an Onkyo 606. My Sony 360 Blu-ray player is connected to the Onkyo via HDMI and the Onkyo is connected to my LG LCD via HDMI. Normally, when a Blu-ray has TrueHd or HD Master, the Onkyo display will indicate "True HD" or "HD Master". For some reason the Onkyo has started displaying DVD (which is the spot the HDMI cable is in for the Blu-ray player and True HD or HD Master is above DVD in small red letters. I want my old style display back. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Brian |

Thanks ... I will try that this morning. I just don't understand why it changed on me. A button somewhere must have been pushed. I can hit display on the Onkyo remote and it will show "True HD" or "HD Master" on the Onkyo display, but after a few seconds the display changes back to the generic input of "DVD". Strange.

I had this problem too.
go to the onk website FAQ. its the first question. It has something to do with the way your onk is set to the tv..Im at work and cant get the time to look it up. |

lots of times these changes occur because a button on the remote was accidentally pressed, i.e. listening mode by pressing that you will change the display because of what the listening mode does. it only takes once or twice to hit that and your in a different mode for listening and what you see on the display.
