What is the percentage of Bluray discs in your collection?

Hey guys
What is the percentage of Bluray discs in your collection?

From my total collection:
Bluray: 35%
DVD: 65%

I do not buy much DVDs now except for TV shows. While most of my movie purchases are in BD. So the 35% is going up.

I could figure this out as I use DVD Profiler where I can see the number of discs according to the media type.

once bluray came out i have not bought and dvd's other than tv searies that are not season 1 on blu about 50/50 now excluding tv seasons i have a sh** load of tv seasons

100% (Assuming digital copies don't lower it since I own the blu's)

Got rid of all my dvd's within a week of getting my ps3.

Hey, You got rid of everything? What about the stuff that are not available in blu?

I've almost gotten rid of all my DVD movies and now just have some TV shows and a couple select movies that aren't rumored for Blu-ray anytime soon. I'd say that I have about 25 TV seasons left and maybe 5 movies, and I have 189 Blu-rays, which is actually low since they consider sets to be one movie, so I'd say I'm at about 86% Blu-ray.

Yea same here. I'm upgrading whatever I can upgrade while new releases I buy them in Blu.

Once a movie is upgraded I give the DVD version to family or friends.

Ah I guess we are in the same situation, but I bought some old movies on DVD that I doubt they will get a release on bluray. Plus TV shows like Dynasty which again doubtful they would have a blu release.

I agree. These anime series are the ones I'm buying currently on DVD to add to my collection.

I havn't been buying dvds that much unless something catches my attention in a bargin bin or I need to complete a trilogy or something like that. Also TV series that are not on BLU. All of the new releases I buy anymore are BLU so I expect the percentage to go higher. I really can't justify geting rid of my DVD's because I know people still want to watch them. There's only two Blu-ray players in the house so it would be pointless for me to get rid of the DVD's of movies I own on BLU.

I'd say my collection is about 85% Blu-ray. I sell off all the dvd's I replace on BD plus some other dvd's that I probably didn't need to buy in the first place. The only major dvd I have that I haven't replaced with an available BD is The Godfather Collection...but I'm sure I'll pull that trigger sooner than later.

100% Blu-ray. I've never bought a DVD in my life. I was never really into movies that much before Blu-ray came along. Now I'm a total movie buff.

100% Blu-ray. I got rid of all my DVD's the same day I got my PS3......and used that credit to buy more blu-rays!
