Default Should I send my TV for repair?

Well, everyone so often, maybe once every two weeks or so, my TV will randomly cut out the picture and the image freezes and fades to white or black and the sound cuts out. I have to turn it on and off to make it go back to normal. Per my sig I have a Toshiba.

I purchased a 3 year warranty at Best Buy for the TV. The TV itself was purchased on Black Friday 2008.

Since it is out of the manufacturers warranty it I can just take it to the geek squad.

Would it be worth it though? I don't know how long I would be without a TV.

just have them come to your house. I had to have a panel replace in mine and they did it at my home.

Is that all covered under the warranty I purchased?

Samsung?

Sorry, just re-read your post. Toshiba. So they all can have problems, not just any particular brand!

My last standard TV warranty with Best Buy had in-home service as a default, although it took a few days before anybody was available to come and check out my set.

What do they usually do? My issue is something that doesn't happen a lot but when it happens it pisses me off. I don't think they make my TV anymore either lol.
