My set-up is as follows:
Samsung TV PN50B550 Samsung BD Player - P1600 Onkyo HTS - S6100 Directv DVR I have all the units with HDMI set-up running through the reciever for optimum use. But for some reason when I want to watch a movie, switching from DTV to BD the signal may or may not connect via the HDMI. I have tried hooking the HDMI ports in all 4 that are on the TV w/ no luck. It is currently in HDMI 1 which is labled DVD on the TV. At first I thought it was the silly anynet function that was causing the problem, but I turned all those functions off on both the BD & TV. I'm not sure what could be causing the no signal issue unless my HDMI cords I bought a year ago are fried. I can't recall if they are 1.3 or not, or could it be a firmware issue w/ the BD player. I just don't get what the "bug" may be. Sometimes it works and somwtimes it doesn't. Can anyone offer up some suggestions so that I can enjoy the blu's and not have the blues...... |
