I know it's not what you want to hear, but I agree with the others. You would be better off putting the TV on the wall. Then you could get a proper, matching center speaker. Raising the TV up 6" or 8" isn't going to put it so high that you have to crane your neck. You can get a wall mount for it from monoprice for less than $40. It's easy to do. I was in the exact same situation when I got my new speakers and I ended up putting the TV on the wall and it's worked out perfectly. If putting the TV on the wall is absolutely out of the question then I suggest you forego the center speaker and run a "phantom center". Toe the mains in and run the auto setup and let it go. If you buy a speaker just because it'll fit in that tiny space then you'll have a front stage that's not timbre matched and it will probably sound worse than not using a center at all. Good luck with it either way.

I'll give the same reply whenever this question comes up and you don't want to use the wall for mounting....raise the TV by building yourself a TV "riser", allowing a bigger center channel to be placed under and in front of the Kuro.

The problem with the riser is that it would still leave me with the same amount of space, my stand is really narrow/thin in depth...like 16" I think. Unless you mean a hollow enough riser that would help fit in the center inside it.
