Center Speaker

I know it's not what you want to hear, but I agree with the others. You would be better off putting the TV on the wall. Then you could get a proper, matching center speaker. Raising the TV up 6" or 8" isn't going to put it so high that you have to crane your neck. You can get a wall mount for it from monoprice for less than $40. It's easy to do. I was in the exact same situation when I got my new speakers and I ended up putting the TV on the wall and it's worked out perfectly. If putting the TV on the wall is absolutely out of the question then I suggest you forego the center speaker and run a "phantom center". Toe the mains in and run the auto setup and let it go. If you buy a speaker just because it'll fit in that tiny space then you'll have a front stage that's not timbre matched and it will probably sound worse than not using a center at all.
