I say put the Kuro on the wall & not worry about size

+1. That is a beautiful TV and stand. Your TV would look awesome on the wall and it will be at the correct height as it looks a little low on the TV stand now.

Cant be done, even if it did happen, it would still have to be at same height and speaker would block the view.

Besides I forked out $400 for that stand half a year ago, dont wanna spend money putting it on the wall.

I know it's not what you want to hear, but I agree with the others. You would be better off putting the TV on the wall. Then you could get a proper, matching center speaker. Raising the TV up 6" or 8" isn't going to put it so high that you have to crane your neck. You can get a wall mount for it from monoprice for less than $40. It's easy to do. I was in the exact same situation when I got my new speakers and I ended up putting the TV on the wall and it's worked out perfectly. If putting the TV on the wall is absolutely out of the question then I suggest you forego the center speaker and run a "phantom center". Toe the mains in and run the auto setup and let it go. If you buy a speaker just because it'll fit in that tiny space then you'll have a front stage that's not timbre matched and it will probably sound worse than not using a center at all. Good luck with it either way.

If you are that against wall-mounting the Kuro, you could always mount the center above the TV and angle it downward at your listening spot.

If all else fails then that would eventually happen I guess...but can't hurt to ask aye?

The phantom center is what I am doin at the moment but I'm just not pleased with it....call it a nag at the back of my head but it feels like I'm missing something!
