Got that right! Just in time for Winter too! No fuss, no mess, No cleaning Soot or smokey rooms, no unwanted sparks burning holes in your carpet. I'm on it!

It's ideal for SoCal! It's way too hot for a real fire but you want to set the mood when you bring home a date. Well now you can do that with your TV! Ain't that grand!

That or everyone gets so drunk that the mood really doesn't matter.

Just imagine a nice fireplace popping and crackling in uncompressed 5.1. Sure its a little short on plot but hey, so was the fish tank BD! Still delivers hours of pointless fun!

Anyone remember the fish channel when they first started cable?! That, my friends, was countless hours of pure entertainment as a single camera was focused on 1 giant fish tank.

It can only get better with a bigger fish tank filmed with high res film!

I actually have a DVD of that exact thing somewhere around the house. My brother picked it up last year for 4.99 at HMV as a joke. I might have to replace it with this blu ray version, hope the PQ and AQ is worth it lol

I was to young or not alive during the fish channels era, but it sounds hilarious

Iono man, my plasma generates a lot of heat, my environmentalist friends tell me plasmas are bad for the environment.

"Fireplace: Visions of Tranquility"

Are you freaking kidding me?! What did they do set up a cam in front of a camera? That's sick. (I mean the bad kind of sick).

I'm all for supporting the format, but I just can't bring myself to get this one. I can just see myself asking some of my friends who have volunteered to do video descriptions for me to help me with this one.

Although, if they gave it a good Barry White or Isaac Hayes soundtrack, packaged it with a good bottle of wine and a bearskin rug, they could push it as the ultimate date BD. If you have a big plasma, you even get the heat radiating over you.

I had a thread that showed this and the aquarium. How come I didn't get all the enthusiastic sarcasm?
