Anyone remember the fish channel when they first started cable?! That, my friends, was countless hours of pure entertainment as a single camera was focused on 1 giant fish tank.

It can only get better with a bigger fish tank filmed with high res film!

I actually have a DVD of that exact thing somewhere around the house. My brother picked it up last year for 4.99 at HMV as a joke. I might have to replace it with this blu ray version, hope the PQ and AQ is worth it lol

Iono man, my plasma generates a lot of heat, my environmentalist friends tell me plasmas are bad for the environment.

"Fireplace: Visions of Tranquility"

Are you freaking kidding me?! What did they do set up a cam in front of a camera? That's sick. (I mean the bad kind of sick).

I had a thread that showed this and the aquarium. How come I didn't get all the enthusiastic sarcasm?

Hate to admit this, but I can kind of understand someone buying the aquarium one.

It's close to a nature show I guess.

Oh I know. How about "Ice Maker?" It shows the inside of different freezers making ice. Sweet.

I just made it through a fire and find the gurgling water of the aquarium to be comforthing.

Have you see the Sunrise Earth show with the glacier breaking up? That was fantastic and i would definitely think about getting it once released.

Edit: Here it is...
Nov 23, 10:00 am
Sunrise Earth
Glacier of Kenai Fjords
TV-G, CC
Perched in the dawn hours along the terminal moraine of this park's largest tidewater glacier, cool, blue cracks of ice flow toward the sea. Scattered on the jet-black beach are icebergs broken under the pressure of a four-mile river of ice.

I watch Sunrise Earth a few mornings each week when I'm getting ready to take everyone to school/work.

It's a nice morning show.

Although, I think the BLU is overpriced. $60 or whatever for 12 episodes is a bit much for it. I'd pay maybe $35 tops.

ditched my seahorse and reef tanks last year - too much work (a combined 1,000 gallons and providing daily live food to the horses). i have the aquarium disc on pre-order.

I've been pacing back and forth between getting a salt water tank or not and this is probably the easiest solution to having fish

I had fish when I was younger. I hated cleaning the tank.

Get the BLU.
