Default Disney Releases

Why is it that Disney puts so much effort into the their "kids" movies, but when a movie I want that they own comes out, its almost guaranteed to look like crap? Between Buena Vista, Miramax, and Dimension Films, Disney owns man titles I am interested in. I am sorry but Cars, Ratatouille, Invisible, and Lookout are not my cup of tea. The two movies Disney released that I was looking forward to so far (Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and Bad Santa) were a total let down. They were barely better than the DVD, if at all. Now I have seen what Disney can do with their kids movies, but what about my movies? Bad Santa, for example, was a big box office hit and I am sure it will sell well for a catalog title. On the other hand, The Lookout, a movie I didn't like at all and only got as part of the BOGO because someone recommended it, looks pristine. Why is Disney not putting any effort into the Blu-ray movies I am looking forward to? Why release them at all if there not gonna try.
