Oppenheimer is distributed by Universal.
Warner Bros. and Universal share a home media distribution arm under the name of SDS, and have released bundles containing films from both.

So, in theory, they could release a Barbenheimer double feature on Blu-ray...

Maybe it will come later, might even be MOD like some other WB titles have been... I haven't seen it, but it's largely been marketed as a comedy, and comedies don't often get a 4K. Even Paramount being on a big catalog kick, a 4K of big comedies like Mean Girls and Clueless seem like a given, but haven't happened yet (maybe next year for Mean Girl's 20th). The last 4K comedy that wasn't a catalog title I can personally think of was The Lost City. Would be nice if there's a 4K, but it wouldn't surprise me if there's not.

I think there's been a few more recent ones depending on how strict your definition of comedy is, like The Blackening and The Bob's Burgers Movie. I agree that straight-up comedies that don't incorporate another genre like action or adventure have not been getting released on the format. At least there's a few that get released overseas like Shotgun Wedding and Cocaine Bear.

With that being said, given how well the movie is doing, it would be baffling to me if this doesn't get a UHD release down the line even if it's delayed a lot like M3GAN's was.

I hate everything Barbie-related including this movie. This movie deserves ridicule. Not that I watched this film entirely. But I give credit to the actors' acting skill in this film's trailers. Just think those actors deserve better roles. People should riot if this movie doesn't get a 4K Bluray case in bright pink to the point of making your eyes bleed. Bright pink making your eyes bleed will be a warning about this film.
