1. Try a different resolution. Like 1080i, 720p or 1080p.
2. If you have Component cables handy, try using those between the player and TV.

3. What version FW is on the BD30 ?

4. If the TV has multiple HDMI inputs, try using/testing them all.

5. Try flipping the HDMI cable around.

I have the BD30. Have you turned 24p off on the BD player?

It's worth a check if everything else has failed.

Take the player off auto in the hdmi setting and pick 1080i.

I'll bet the flashing stops.

I REALLY APPRECIATE THIS FORUM!!
Last night I almost went crazy with the flicker - I had been using the BD30 on a Samsung LNT3253 with no flicker - I just bought a Samsung LNT4061 and was experiencing nasty flicker and loss of picture on SD movies. I just did what you suggested and so far, so good. Great picture, no flicker.

I really like the Panasonic player/Samsung TV combination so I really didn't want to exchange my player. I think it's fine now - HDMI connection now set to 1080i.

Thanks!

Default panasonic bd30

i had the same problems you are having and i have the same samsung tv and the bd30,i took the player back and got a new one same problem, flicker screen, lose signal.so i read on here some where that the bd30 and the samsung were not compatible so i took the bd30 back and got a sony s300 and it works great with out any problems.the load time is a bit slow but that gives me time to get my goodys before the move starts.
