LG GGW-H20L problem... - Blu-ray Forum

Sorry guys I've bought 2 weeks ago this hardware... but now I'm facing with a huge problem that I don't know how to solve, Does anyone know why it works with all Blu-ray disc except the new BD+ protected disc? eg. I bought The Simpson The Movie and it doesn't work, it seems like the LG does not recognize the disc...
Any solution?

PS: I'm thinking abount upload firmware, what do you think?

It's most likely your player software not the drive itself so you'll need to update that first. I would check the firmware also just to make sure everything is up-to-date.

my player you mean powerDVD? if yes is the last version that you will find on ciberlink website...
and it's why I really nervous because I can't watch SPIDER PORK on HD quality

I can watch Simpson's BD on PowerDVD Ultra. Do you have the OEM or Full version?

Only thing different is that I have the GGC not the GGW.

I have power DVD ultra full version...
I have called the call center of LG and they don't know why... and said try to download the new firmware... that's all

Well first you should definitely update to the latest firmware second you have to download the latest version of the BD software you use. With that hopefully you should be able to do it.

Sorry what do you mean with "the latest version of the BD software you use"? I use the last version of PowerDVD Ultra

I've upgraded the firmware but nothing... I've also tryed the Blu Ray Disc of Simpson on other hardware in a shop it works...
So what do you think i've to call LG?

Just a thought, but if you have AnyDVD HD running, try disabling it.
