The Deer Hunter Looks Good! - Blu-ray Forum

I just got this today, its out in Australia.

The codec is VC-1 on a BD-50 with DTS HDMA audio.

I'm just watching it now and for a movie shot in the last 70's it looks pretty damn good.

I think it may be the same as the Studio Canal HD-DVD transfer because it has that logo on the case.

It's been out in Sweden for some time now, gonna get it while doing the x-mas shopping. Might as well buy The Pianist.
