Probably a fan from another console worried about the positive press it has been receiving.

I think that this is great! It really does show some of the capabilities of the video game. I believe that this can actually be spinned into good news for the game showing that the sky is the limit for creating new levels.

With all the positive press out there showcasing the great things that can be made using the LittleBigPlanet level editor, it was only a matter of time before someone made something not so great.

If you thought the use of Space Invaders to mock the events of September 11th was tasteless, then you will likely cringe when you see Sackboy pilot a plane into the twin towers in this user created LBP level.

The video is available after the jump, though we completely understand if you decide to pass on this one.

It really is a stupid level....not really anything to freak out about...

One thing, though...this is exactly what the creator was hoping to do...stir up the pot and get people in a frenzy about it...

I don't see that maker being around for very much longer, though...

well this will get the word out about the game
although I hope people realize you can create levels, and that that particular level isnt something that comes in the game

I was wondering if anyone in the mod community had done similar levels with other games but really didn't want to go searching for that sort of thing. So, thanks for the info.

The media will blow it out of proportion, like everything else they normally do. They'll probably make some dumb bs like "Sony's exclusive game title is the new tool for terrorist? we'll tell you after the break!"

Okay...

As horrifying as the content may seem at first...

People have to remember that LittleBigPlanet _is going to be a reflection of our world_ to quite a huge degree (as far as the censors will let it anyway).

There are people out there who do not feel the same way about 911, obviously, as most of the Western world does. Those people will likely enjoy using our 'capitalist scum' technology, the PS3, to make many levels that appeal more to their sensibilities... regardless how hypocritical it may be to their pronounced viewpoints.

So...

I'm sure we have a lot to see when this thing comes out for reals!

Personally, I love it. I may not agree with all content nor it's appropriateness but I love that all content _is possible_. That diversity and creativity is what makes LBP what it is and will give it legendary game status.

As in the 'real world' diversity requires tolerance to succeed, but when it does there is no better result.

people also need to remember a video of something like this or that other will pop up because creating a level for ur personal use on ur own console will not be reviewed. It's completely different than somebody creating a level and uploading it for the world to see or play it online.
