It's sad they haven't decided to launch some high-end sets. It seems mass market is all they want to target.

I read that Pioneer is going to be releasing an entirely new plasma technology this summer that is comparable to SED technology.

It's not entirely new, but it is entirely advanced. I'll definitely be getting one of the new 50" Pioneer Elites in September.

Sony should pay for the patent and develop SED further, like they did with LCoS/D-ILA.
