Pshaw...don't they know that HD DVD-30s yields are better than BD-50 yields?

Default Looks cool

That attracts attention. Looks nice and convincing. More places should start posting things like that.

Yeah had a nice selection. They had all the new releases and at least 50+ of older ones. I thought it was funny when I was checking out the guy said, you're renting Momento on blu-ray? You have a blu-ray player or ps3? I said of course bro. He then said, "ok just making sure."

they have two of those on either side of the door on the way into my local. there is big selection but it is decimated and only the display cards are there and the movies that are not that popular. guess its a good thing really.
no excuse to not try it out if you have a ps3 and then hopefully popularity increases and people might pick up a few.

LOL...Now if they could only find a way of preventing Blockbuster patrons who ask "Do you have Transformers on disk?" two weeks after it hits theaters.

(Nice to know BB's at least making sure with its Blu customers--
A problem that Netflix rarely has to worry about.)

Unfortunately most Americans who go into Blockbuster to rent movies are really that retarded. I have people who ask me if Disney movies are on DVD the day they come out in theaters...it really is that bad.

I've been going to my local BBuster for about two months now to exchange movies via the Total Access program, and they still ask me every time: So, what do you think of Blu-ray? Or they say something like this: I assume you have a Blu-ray player?

Dude, 2 months of going in there and exchanging movies like every other day, and they still ask or tell me these things. Go figure.

I'll gladly support NZBs over HD DVD.
Ok, so I'm old. What does NZB stand for? The only entry dictionary.com has is New Zealand Black (inbred strain of mouse with lupus disease). You're not saying you prefer lupus disease, are you?

God, I am getting so sick of being asked this. I understand you have customers coming back and saying I thought this was a better dvd and it doesn't work in my state of the art dvd player, but god, let the customer (me) buy whatever I want and make my own mistakes. Besides, then more BRAND NEW blu-rays will keep showing up for 10-15 bucks at used buy/sell/trade stores. Yay!

marketing is the best way to educate consumers. If someone sees that, they would wonder what its about and that = questions about it = education.

This must only be in the US because our Blockbuster stores up here that carry any HD media carry both formats.
