I really don't know if this belongs in this section or not, but thought it might be relavent, and if someone else has posted on this sorry, searched and could not find.

If MS is helping bankroll HD dvd, but really wants to do HD downloads, why help toshiba.

Here is my conspiracy theory.

MS does not like Sony and sees them as their biggest competetion. Sony helps develop BD and uses it for movies and games. BD discs are proving that they are the future for gaming due to capacity. MS realizes that if BD wins they will have to pay the BDA (who they see as Sony) a fee to use in their next RROD box. If they can help defeat BD then they will not have to rely on their competetion's technical advance for their next console.

Seriously could any one see MGS4 on DVD9.

Mission 1 complete insert disc2, mission 2 complete insert disc 3, mission 3 complete insert disc 4 and so on.
