This was very good. One of better HK movies I've seen recently. I am still puzzled and amazed at how they shot the opening montage of contiguous freeze framed B&W shot going continuous from the subway to the apartment to the restaurant to the streets. If anyone knows how this was achieved, I'd love to know.

PQ is grainy, but at the same time, nice and sharp. Audio is very loud dts HD MA 7.1. Both are demo material. Highly recommended.

Is the move full of interesting visual eye candy or was it only that one cool freeze frame B&W shot? From the trailer, it looks like a decent action movie but only worth watching once. If there is some amazing eye candy or if the story is really rewatchable, then I might blind buy it. What do you think?

IMHO there is not much rewatch value in it ... its a really decent flick ... but its more drama then action ... my biggest complaint were the bland generic characters.

Action junkies could be disappointed ... no bloodshed type action ... no bullettime or stylized shootouts. Gritty and realstic gun fights ... nothing fancy bout them.

Over all ... if you re a die hard HK action/drama fan ... buy it ... its worth it ... if not ... better rent it or wait for a cheap sale.

thanks, that's what I thought. I'll just rent it from a Chinatown video store if I ever really want to see it someday!
