Question Will we ever be able to throw out our DVDs?

I'm looking at my DVD collection, and ignoring for the moment the fact that buying every single disc as a Blu-ray would be expensive, I wonder... will it even be possible to re-buy them all?

My question is - Will the studios ever re-release/remaster everything that they ever released on DVD? (You can ignore indie films and rare stuff, I'm just talking about the big studios) I think that ever VHS has probably been re-released as a DVD, there's nothing I can think of that hasn't been. Will it be the same again?

Edit: Just to clarify, I'm not saying how much back catalogue you think SHOULD be replaced, I'm saying how much you think WILL be replaced.

Edit: I think grammatically that 4th option should have said "fewer" not "less", but whatever. Me fail English? That unposable!
