Default What's up with Warner shorting BD on audio?

I have noticed that most BluRay titles from Warner do not have the same level of audio as the same title release on HD-DVD. Does anyone here know why?

First, if you're worried because the Warner titles say DolbyDigital Plus (DD+) on HD DVD and the Blu-rays say only DolbyDigital, be aware that Warner titles HD DVD 5.1 DD+ tracks are 640 kb/s, and that Blu-ray's DolbyDigital 5.1 tracks are 640 kb/s

Second if you refert to the current Blu-ray Warner titles not having DolbyTrueHD, that is because the DolbyTrueHD file fomat in BD is different, and Warner hasn't gone to the trouble of rencoding the DolbyTrueHD tracks for the BD one. Of course, they could have just included the LPCM uncompressed Master which they used to encode the DolbyTrueHD one, as is, but for some reason they don't want to do that neither.

As to why. Ask them. Often.
