Well he is being pretty stubborn. Like has he seen the trailers of Watchmen. The movie is basically a exact replica of the comic. The movie basically replicates the panels of the comic.

That's great for the artist, but Moore is a writer.

The film does deviate from the book somewhat, the ending is different for a start. We all know the book will not be completely adapted to the screen, it's just not possible (maybe a huge budget 24 episode tv series).

What Moore says makes sense in a kind of purist way. The Watchmen (as many other literary works) can only be the graphic novel, everything else is an adaption/re-edited version of the story. Every medium has it's requirements that involves editing or reworking aspects for it to work in that medium.

I guess Moore isn't a wh*re for money.

This is why he didn't want his name listed in the credits of V For Vendetta, which was a GREAT movie.

He makes some incredibly valid points... but that ain't stopping me from buying 'Watchmen' or from seeing it multiple times in theatres.

But I'm not sure exactly how they'll get you-know-who to do you-know-what... I think the movie will do awesome... great for the fans... something fresh for the uninitiated...

Wow. He sounds like a wackjob. Not because he isnt a fan of hollywood, but because he perceives everything in a negative light and is seriously paranoid...seems like everything is a big conspiracy against him and Londoners.

V for Vendetta was an excellent movie.......It just was nothing like the graphic novel.

Some people can separate the two and say that they are both good in their own individual ways............and some people will spend the whole movie ranting about how it was not true to the graphic novel and about all of the differences.

Personally, I like both the movie and the graphic novel for very different things.

Since Alan Moore was the author of the graphic novel, I can see him not being happy about the differences. (League of Extrodinary Gentlemen was a travesty)...............however, Moore's rantings and hard line stance as anti-cinema and not willing to give anything another chance do nothing but sully his image and reputation. Making one of the greatest modern authors come off as a bit of a crackpot, complete with paranoid ranting.

Alan Moore has never been happy with Hollywood at all none of the movies made from his books as ever been 100% accurate and as express in many many interviews he always believe that comics and movies should never mix..

The Killing Joke is a Batman story that he did where

Heath Ledger used it as an inspiration when preparing for his role in the Dark Knight.

Lost Girls has actually been out a couple of years now. It is a bit odd as it is an almost pornographic telling of stories regarding Dorthy from the Wizard of Oz, Wendy from Peter Pan, and Alice from Alice in Wonderland.

Well considering how he had to sell the rights to Watchmen over to a studio then he had to know this was coming.
