Don't know about The Killing Joke and from the article Lost Girls just came out
The Killing Joke is a Batman story that he did where
[Show spoiler]Barbara Gordon (Batgirl) is paralyzed by the Joker.
Heath Ledger used it as an inspiration when preparing for his role in the Dark Knight.

Lost Girls has actually been out a couple of years now. It is a bit odd as it is an almost pornographic telling of stories regarding Dorthy from the Wizard of Oz, Wendy from Peter Pan, and Alice from Alice in Wonderland.

To some extent, it is.

I picked it up about 2 years ago since I was a fan of much of his other work.

To me some authors are too senistive. Tom Clancy is the same way. Yes they are not interpeting your story a 100 % accurate, but somethings never translate well to film. I do agree with a poster above about the ending of The Watchmen being a tad farfetched.

Good writer, bad person. He beleives in magic as a religion, and obviously has no clue what he is talking about. Never liked him and never will.

Bad person is a huge judgment for someone you don't know and has done nothing morally wrong o.o.

He's eccentric. I thought people liked that? I do.

Yep. That and Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns are the two best Batman stories ever.
Miller's Batman Year One is third.

All 3 are great reads for Batman fans.

Anyone that likes Watchmen should read From Hell immediately. It is the most dense of all his works and exhibits the immense amount of detail and preparation Moore did in writing that graphic novel. It is truly the closest I have seen a graphic novel approach a true literary work.
