Default Wow Samsung 650

Well I have been lurking these forums for some time and with taxes back decided to make my big purchase for entertainment.

I now am the proud owner of a 46 inch Samsung 650 series Lcd and Sony S550 blue ray player...

All I can say is WOW, Just finished watching Incredible Hulk on this set and it was amazing to me.

I wanted to thank all you for this awesome forum and good informative threads, helped me spend my money wisely. /cheers

I have the LN52A650, and it's an incredible set. And if you're the sort of fellow to follow Consumer Reports advice, their LCD TV issue had the 650 series at the top or very near for all categories it was in.

Samsung is at the top of their game with LCD TVs currently, and I've recommended the 6 series to everyone within earshot. Hell, even my mother-in-law, that doesn't ever listen to me, went out and got one and love it.

Congrats on the Samsung man. I got a Samsung 52" 850 for Christmas and it's nothing short of amazing. Combine it with a blu-ray player and it's really fantastic. Everyone that comes over it blown away. My father in law said "we have a HDTV but it doesn't look that good!"

Well for 1,481 from amazon I could not pass it up. Amazon had the tv cheaper than CC would sell it for even though they are closing.

My two young kids will not take their eyes off the tv now...

Got my Sammy 46" 650 at worst buy for $1450.00 Plus 3 years interest free!

Had to take the first one back due to stuck pixels on a one week old TV. Second one is going strong though!!

They have one of these as an open box buy a BB (not going to get a tv anytime soon), but boy did it look nice.

I noticed that the picture looked slightly sped up.

Does anyone know if this is due to the Auto Motion Plus feature or simply the 120hz ?

I think it looks more 3-Dimensional regardless, but I'm sure it's going to take some time to get used to it.

I usually keep my automotion on low or off personally. I looked at the best buy near me and they wanted more than that for the set so you got a good deal.
