Default Who should host next year's Oscars?

Last Oscar's thread, I swear (that I'm doing at least ). I am truly curious as to people's thoughts about who would be a good host.

Christian Bale, anyone?

Seriously though, Kevin Spacey? Eh? Eh?

Default Spacey, Crystal, Kimmel, Conan O.?

I thought Hugh Jackman was very good, the opening production with them doing all 5 pics, etc., was very enjoyable I thought.

Every year since 91', we have a party at a friend's house---we do ballots (usually I do them up), scoring is kept, someone wins a Main trophy & gets their name on it and year ("Best Selector") they won, then also get a smaller trophy with their name/year on it as well. Food, snacks, desserts, etc. Like your usual Super Bowl Party type thing. - Doh, Off Topic!

Anyway, everyone seems to enjoy Billy Crystals' hosting duties, and it's been a few years since he's been there. But I could see Kevin Spacey doing it, Conan O'Brien, Jimmy Kimmel perhaps.

I thought Hugh was pretty damn good. I had no idea he had that kinda range in his acting ability.

It woulda been funny though if he pulled out the claws !!

He won a Tony Award for his performance in the Broadway musical hit The Boy From Oz, where he portrayed the Australian songwriter and performer Peter Allen. The next year he hosted the Tony's and won an Emmy for his hosting duties.

I actually liked Jon Stewart. I think he should do it again.

Considering that his movies have grossed more then any other actor in Hollywood that would be smart. People obviously like him a lot.

Source? A quick search shows he's not even in the top 5 for starring roles. If you count movies he's simply BEEN in (like the Star Wars prequels, which is sort of silly), then maybe he's up there.

I'm talking about the movies he's been in not about him making the most money. As I can recall his movies that he has been in have grossed over some ridiculous amount of billions of dollars.

Right, so even bit parts like the Star Wars prequels. You're right, he's #1.

For starring roles, #1 surprised me -- Eddie Murphy. Jackson is #9. His per movie average, though is pretty bad. He makes up for it with the ridiculous number of movies he's appeared in.
